October has been so exciting in GOLD so far this year! on the 9th, we had a super fun half day that ended with a carnival with games, prizes and cotton candy, a high tech fully stocked video game truck, and inflatable obstacles! Shout out to Tech and Mike at Bay to Bay Jumpers (http://www.baytobayjumpers.com/) for always helping us out. The students and staff had way too much fun bonding and spending some time together.
On the 15th, we had our club faire that introduced our new round of enrichment classes (listed in the previous post). So far we've seen contraptions being built, songs being sung, books and movies being reviewed, and some basketball basics practiced! In other news, we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of a new GOLD Team member: Mr. B's baby! His wife Maile is due in November and Ms. Barber, who is an instructional aide in the day time, will fill in for Mr. B when the baby is born.
